2. Data We Acquire

  • Identity Data: We collect your email address strictly for waitlist registration, unique handle reservation and pre-launch updates.
  • Engagement Data: We observe landing page interactions to help us improve the functionality and overall user experience of our website.

3. Data Residency & Servers

All waitlist data is stored exclusively on North American servers. This ensures your information is protected under a stable legal framework.

4. Data Sharing

To help the outdoor community "Pack Smart and Go Far," we may eventually share anonymized aggregate data with brand partners.

  • Zero PII: This data is stripped of all personal identifiers.
  • Utility Focus: Partners see only high-level aggregated data (e.g., "30% of users prioritize hiking activities") to help identify user trends.
  • Third Parties: To provide a seamless experience and fulfill our role as your command center for the wild, we share certain information with trusted third-party service providers.
    • Web Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website traffic, compile aggregate statistics and improve our website. It does not use analytics cookies or track individual visitors across websites.
    • Referrals & Attribution: If you were referred to Outdoor Ready Inc. by a partner or through an advertisement, we may collect and share specific non-identifiable identifiers with that third party to attribute the referral correctly.
      • Referral Data: This may include a unique referral ID or the specific site/campaign that directed you to us.
      • Purpose: This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and manage our referral partnerships fairly.
    • Limits on Third-Party Use: All third-party service providers (including analytics and marketing partners) are contractually prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than providing services to Outdoor Ready Inc. and are required to maintain the confidentiality of your data.

5. Your Rights & Data Access

  • Data Access Reports: You may request a manual report of all data we hold on your account by contacting us at our headquarters.
  • The Right to be Forgotten: You can opt-out or request total data deletion at any time via e-mail communications at privacy@outdoorready.com.

6. Children's Privacy

Outdoor Ready Inc. services are intended for use by individuals who are aged 18 or older, or aged 13–17 with parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information, including email addresses, from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our records.
