The outdoors isn’t a hobby for Jimmy. It’s the thing that defines him.
He’s spent years deep in the backcountry camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, overlanding, and portaging, and Outdoor Ready was born out of his own frustration: scattered gear spreadsheets, a dozen disconnected apps, no single place to plan, pack, and share the trips that matter. A seasoned leader with both technical fluency and sharp business instincts, he’s scaled multiple product companies through funding rounds and acquisitions, and he’s putting all of it behind building something the North American outdoor community truly deserves. This is the company he was always meant to build.

For Jason, time in the wild is what keeps everything else in focus. He’s an avid outdoorsman who shares Jimmy’s obsession with the backcountry.
He also saw exactly what was missing: outdoor enthusiasts stuck stitching together a dozen apps and tools that were never built to work as one. A seasoned engineering leader who has scaled high-growth technology companies, he’s turning that vision into a platform that holds up in the field. He’s building Outdoor Ready to be the tool he always wished he had.
